This sculpture in bronze represents 8 birds in rising flight, leaving the ground into the air. The bird symbolises liberty and peace while the sky symbolises joy and hope. The sculpture’s dynamic form and proportions inspires one to dream while creating a sense of tranquillity as the birds are a peaceful link between Sky and Earth.

Artist’s Biography

Etienne has a degree in plastic arts. His works are exhibited internationally and collected by private collectors, institutions, and corporations. He worked with marble, stone and wood initially, but soon opted for bronze, which he felt allowed him to deal with solids and hollows better. Etienne’s works strike an organic balance between mass and space.
